Most of our clients like to plan their training, especially if they are deciding to compete in an event of some kind, so a training plan for runners could be very important to them.
It could be that they are planning their first road race – something like a 5k / 10k / half marathon / full marathon, or it could be an off road challenge like a Tough Mudder – but having the right training in the tank can make the event far more fun.
Our bespoke training plans are matched to suit your lifestyle and current level of participation, with one eye always on the level you want to work towards.
Plans can be short term 3/4 months and very event specific, especially if you are building towards a key event – or maybe for a whole year if the goal is big enough.
The training plans are designed to fit around your lifestyle and likes, always reviewed regularly to ensure that progress is being made, plus can incorporate other areas of fitness for example strength training and different classes you enjoy doing – why stop something you enjoy?
Our Head Coach Andy Prior holds an honors degree in Sport Fitness and Coaching, the Certificate in Running Fitness via UK Athletics (who he also lectures for training coaches) and is a qualified Personal Trainer, so has all bases covered.
Andy currently writes the general training plan for Fairlands Valley Spartans running club members, but also focuses on individual plans to help runners get the most from their running.
Training plans for runners start at just £20 per month, for a run plan, but if something more technical is required incorporating a weekly strength plan in addition to a run plan we can discuss your needs in more depth, all plans need to be athlete centred and work for the runner to get the most from their training.
